Do you find navigating the Australian aged care system overwhelming?

You are not alone.

The Australian aged care system can seem quite daunting for anyone who is not familiar with all the key terms, acronyms and services, or the steps required to access services.

With more than 50 years’ experience in the aged care sector, ECH has a vast bank of knowledge and experience that you can draw upon by emailing ask@ech.asn.au or calling on 1300 275 324.

The team at ECH will ask you about your health and lifestyle goals and discuss the areas where you feel you could use some assistance.

ECH offers a range of services on a competitively priced self-funded basis, however, you may be eligible for Government assistance towards the costs of these services. To receive Government assistance, you will need to undergo an assessment. The assessment is conducted by the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT). The results of this assessment will determine your eligibility for a Home Care Package and the most appropriate funding level for your circumstances. ECH can arrange for a free ACAT assessment on your behalf.

The ACAT assessment is completed through the Federal Government’s My Aged Care website and ECH can help you navigate your way through this online process. During your assessment, a list of registered service providers that offer home care services will be made available to you. It is at this point that you can select ECH as your preferred service provider.

Ask ECH for free assistance with registering with My Aged Care and navigating the assessment process.
