Project Officer - Day Program Evaluation Project
7 week Contract – Full time or Part time equivalent

An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Day Program Evaluation Project Officer to assist our Community Services team. The main focus of the Day Program Evaluation project is to measure the outcomes and stakeholder benefits gained through the funding for all current ECH Day Programs. Reporting to the Project Manager Research and Evaluation, the role is accountable for the planning and implementation of activities to achieve the desired strategic outcomes. The role is based at ECH Head office and requires travel to the other ECH worksites as appropriate.
The core responsibilities include:
- Plan the implementation and timeline of the activities required
- The implementation, data gathering and reporting of all activities undertaken
- Contributing to the development of progress reports and the final project evaluation report
To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate;
- The ability to liaise with program managers, staff and relevant stakeholders
- High organisational skills, motivation and interpersonal skills for conducting interviews and facilitating focus groups for analysis
- Competency in transcribing information, formulating solutions and thinking strategically
- An understanding of the diverse physical, social, emotional, cultural and service needs of the older people in the community and their individual circumstances
- An awareness of Day Program funding and services, including National Respite for Carers (NRCP) and Home and Community Care (HACC) funding is desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in a Human Services field will be highly regarded
