ECH Health & Wellbeing Services provide a comprehensive range of allied
health services via therapy services that:
assist older people to remain in their chosen environment
within the community through the provision of appropriate
therapy
support older people to better self-manage their
health
assist older people to self-mangement of chronic conditions

problems with activities of daily living
unsafe home environment
balance & risk of falls
strength & fitness
stiffness & mobility problems
self management of chronic conditions
pain management
bladder control
swallowing / communication issues
neurological conditions including stroke & Parkinson's disease
feet and lower limb problems

Access
Therapy Services is open to all older persons living in the
community. Access to any of ECH's four Therapy Services may
be via a referral from a doctor, allied health professional or community
worker, or via self or family referral. In some instances, further medical
information may be sought from a client's doctor. For referral information

Cost
ECH Therapy Services are funded through the Australian Department
of Health and Ageing's Day Therapy Centre program. Fees are capped at
a maximum of $20 per week and a fee reduction policy applies in special
circumstances, so that no client will miss out on services because of
cost.
