Food Services

In residential care meals are especially important as they are a significant part of the daily routine and also because older people often have quite specific dietary requirements. Menus in our care centres are changed regularly and are developed with significant input from residents before the meals are prepared and supplied by ECH Food Services.

ECH Food Services is a cook-chill, bulk food production facility located at Kidman Park that was established in 1996 as a central kitchen catering to all ECH residential care centres.

With the capacity to produce up to 10,000 meals per day, ECH Food Services today also provides a service to many other organisations within the health and aged care sectors. ECH Food Services also provides food components for the commercial retail sector.
