Since 1964, the vision of ECH Inc (formerly Elderly Citizens’ Homes) has been "to enhance the quality of life of the ageing". This has guided our growth as a 'not-for-profit', charitable organisation to become one of the largest integrated providers of retirement accommodation and aged care services in South Australia.

Our strong focus on community relations ensures we remain in touch and linked with our residents and the broader community. The support of our volunteers throughout the process is priceless.

ECH offers its residents many 'extra' activities and opportunities due mainly to the commitment of its volunteers. Volunteers and staff work together to encourage and support residents to participate in a variety of social activities.

ECH has many opportunities for volunteers to become involved with the residents and staff. Volunteer opportunities are available with both active retirees living independently and the less active residents in the residential care centres.
