Residential Care
In our seven Residential Care Centres ECH provides care that is responsive to the needs of individuals.Through our ‘Lifestyle Model of Care’ our service delivery is flexible so that residents can live their life as close as possible to how they did in the community. We aim to create an environment of homeliness with a variety of social activities for fun, fitness and socialisation. Some residents are early risers whilst others may prefer a later start to their day and each centre has activities that reflect the patterns of living residents would have experienced at home.
ECH has an ‘ageing in place’ policy, which means that as the resident’s health status changes, they can usually remain within the care centre and receive a higher level of care.
ECH encourages consultation with and participation of residents, family and friends or representatives.
