Ms Sue Vardon has an extensive background in community services and social care. Sue has previously held executive positions in NSW, ACT and SA including CEO of the Office of Public Sector Reform, Commissioner for Public Employment and Chief Executive of the Department of Correctional Services as well as the role of inaugural CEO responsible for the establishment of Centrelink.

In 1995, Sue was the Telstra Business Woman of the Year for SA and Australia in both the public sector and general categories. Since retiring, Sue has undertaken a number of community roles including Chair of Ghana Relief Fund, Chair of Connecting Up Inc and Chair of the SA Divisional Advisory Board for The Australian Red Cross.

Mr Andrew Heard is a chartered accountant and joint founder of Heard Phillips. He is a specialist accounting practice focusing on insolvency, restructuring and litigation support services. A professional accountant for more than 20 years, he is also Deputy Chair and Trustee of the Pulteney Foundation.

Ms Rosina Hislop is a chartered accountant and former partner of EY with over 20 years’ local and international experience in finance, strategy, risk management, corporate governance, business reviews and audits. Her current board positions include Presiding member, Governing Council of the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network, Director of Principals Australia Institute and Chair, Seymour College.

In addition, Rosina is a facilitator for the Company Directors Course for the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and chairs the Audit and Risk Committee of the Local Government Association for South Australia.

Ms Susy Daw is the Chair of Audit and Risk on the ECH Board. She is a risk management consultant, business mentor and Director of MQM Business Consultants. With 21 years’ experience in risk and strategic consulting, she has worked in both the public and private sectors. Susy’s experience includes health, aged care, tourism, finance and banking, tertiary education, real estate, sport and recreation, transport, the building industry and all levels of government.

Susy has been a facilitator for the Australian Institute of Company Directors for 13 years, is an independent advisor on the SA Health Risk Management and Audit Committee and is Chair, University of Adelaide Risk Management Committee.





Cameron Bryson ECH Board Member

Mr Cameron Bryson is a member of the ECH Board and an owner and Director of Oryx Property. He has experience in providing strategic property development advice, facilitating affordable housing, infrastructure investment, financial modelling, risk analysis and project management.

Cameron, holds a degree in Building and Project Management and a Masters in Business Administration, is currently the Board Vice Chair of Wirraway Homestead and Governing Council Chairperson of Goodwood Primary School.

Peter is currently serving as a non Executive Director on a number of boards including Chair of the Electricity Industry Super Scheme, RAA, Fox Creek Wines and Adelaide University Council.

Mr Stephen Christley is a highly experienced medical practitioner with a background in Obstetrics and Paediatrics. Over the past 30 years, he has held a number of senior roles within the Australian Health sector including Interim Commissioner for the SA Mental Health Commission, Chief Public Health Officer, Executive Director Public Health and Clinical Systems, Director of Health Services Development and Medical Officer of Health, Department of Health, South West Regional Office NSW. Stephen has also held the position of Chief Executive at both the Northern Sydney Area Health and Central Coast Area Health Services.
