Happy Valley Bus Trip October
Jump on board the ECH bus and take part in a some fun social activity in October.
Take a journey to the quaint beachside suburb of Glenelg, Indulge your inner historian with a visit to the historic Old Gum Tree followed by the Bay Discovery Centre, a social history museum in the heart of Glenelg. Afterwards, stroll along Jetty Road and enjoy lunch at the Jetty Hotel.
Cost and eligibility criteria:
Cost is *$35 per person and includes snacks, lunch and any applicable entrance fees
*To access the subsidised rate of $35, you will need a referral from My Aged Care. To access a My Aged Care referral please contact ECH on 1300 275 324. If you don’t wish to obtain a referral please discuss with staff about ‘out-of-pocket’ costs.
All participants are required to complete an ECH assessment prior to attending. An ECH staff member will contact you to book in the assessment, once a My Aged Care referral is received.
Departure and arrival time:
Bus trips depart from Happy Valley Day Program in the church at the corner Jade & Hay Street Happy Valley at 9.00am. The bus will arrive back at the same location at Happy Valley at 4.00pm. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure to ensure the bus leaves on time.
How to book, change or cancel a booking
Once you have had your ECH assessment, contact 1300 275 324 to book. Due to the popularity of the bus outings, please call if you are unable to attend and need to cancel your booking.
