Henley Beach Bus Trip April
Jump on board the ECH bus and take part in a some fun social activity in April.
Travel to the Adelaide Hills and visit Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary, the only place on mainland South Australia where you may see the elusive platypus. Discover the thriving eco-system where hundreds of Australian native animals flourish. See koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, bandicoots, potoroos, bettongs, and birds, rarely seen outside the feral-proof fence, all live safely at the sanctuary. Afterwards, enjoy lunch at the onsite café.
Cost and eligibility criteria:
Cost is *$35 per person and includes snacks, lunch and any applicable entrance fees
*To access the subsidised rate of $35, you will need a referral from My Aged Care. To access a My Aged Care referral please contact ECH on 1300 275 324. If you don’t wish to obtain a referral please discuss with staff about ‘out-of-pocket’ costs.
All participants are required to complete an ECH assessment prior to attending. An ECH staff member will contact you to book in the assessment, once a My Aged Care referral is received.
Departure and arrival time:
Bus trips depart from ECH Henley Beach 1-11 Laidlaw St, Henley Beach at 9.00am. The bus will arrive back at the same location at Henley Beach at 4.00pm. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure to ensure the bus leaves on time.
How to book, change or cancel a booking
Once you have had your ECH assessment, contact 1300 275 324 to book. Due to the popularity of the bus outings, please call if you are unable to attend and need to cancel your booking.
