At ECH, we believe in the power of nature to connect people across generations. Our Intergenerational Nature Play Workshop offer a unique opportunity for children and older adults to come together, explore the natural world, and create lasting memories.
During these workshops, participants will engage in hands-on activities that spark curiosity and creativity. You’ll start by crafting a bee on a stick from natural materials—bringing color and movement to your garden. Then, you’ll collect found objects from the beautiful surroundings at ECH Henley Beach and arrange them in an Ikebana-style display, perfect for bringing a piece of nature into your home.
These events aren’t just about crafting—they’re about learning and sharing too. As you create, you’ll have the chance to learn about native bees and their importance to our ecosystem, and to share your own stories and experiences with nature.
