With the easing of COVID-19 Government restrictions we are delighted to be welcoming back some of our social activities. Our Walking Groups have now resumed so we look forward to welcoming you back.

Conversation cafes are still on hold for now however, we are working closely with Mitcham Council and hope to restart social activities at Cumberland Park Community Centre very soon. For more information call ECH on 1300 275 324.

Bus Trips

Jump on board the ECH bus to visit a range of exciting destinations such as museums, art galleries, botanical gardens, wildlife centres, wineries and scenic tours.

Buses depart from ECH Centres at Henley Beach, Happy Valley, Walkerville, Smithfield and Victor Harbor.

Bookings are essential.

The price is $35 per person, which includes morning tea, lunch and any applicable entrance fees. To access the subsidised rate of $35, you will need a referral from My Aged Care, which the friendly ECH staff can help you arrange.

All participants are also required to complete an ECH assessment prior to attending, which ECH will arrange for you once your My Aged Care referral is received.

Cumberland Park Community Centre

Learn new skills and meet new people by attending ECH workshops at the Cumberland Park Community Centre. The art and gardening workshops are held every Wednesday from 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm.

Anyone, regardless of age is welcome to attend; with each workshop representing great value for money at just $10 per workshop.

Walking Groups

If you are looking for a way to keep active, why not consider joining one of the ECH walking groups. The walking groups are a great way to exercise, meet like-minded people and maintain good heart health.

Walking groups are currently active in various locations across metropolitan Adelaide and Victor Harbor.

Heart Foundation Walking is Australia’s largest community-based walking network coordinated locally by ECH.

Conversation Cafes

Whether you like culture, architecture, wildlife or nature, ECH Conversation Café events offer a wide range of exciting opportunities to share your interests with likeminded people.

Held each month, Conversation Cafes are designed to connect people with their peers, enjoy lively discussions and encourage social engagement and the sharing of ideas.

Living Well

Get up, get out, get involved! The ECH Living Well Program can assist you to connect to new activities or reconnect to things you have enjoyed in the past.
