We are following the Government guidelines on social distancing therefore spaces in these sessions are limited. On that basis we recommend only those people who are looking to move within the next 12 months attend. However, if you are considering moving but have a longer time frame in mind we would encourage you to contact the Retirement Living Team and join our registration list.
Information sessions cover the many benefits of retirement village living and the services that would be available to you as a resident of an ECH retirement village. These include home and village maintenance, access to ECH holiday units and access to Independent Living Services such as allied health services, exercise classes and social programs.
You will also learn more about ECH retirement village units, including the layout and features such as quality kitchens and bathrooms, reverse-cycle air-conditioning and energy-efficient refrigerators and washing machines.
What else will be covered at the information session?
The information session will also cover the financial side of moving into an ECH retirement village. Resident Agreements, including contract and financial arrangements, will be explained as well as the range of payment options available to you. You can rest assured that the contracts are simple to understand and there will never be any hidden fees.
You will also learn about the Retirement Villages Act that governs all retirement villages in South Australia and how it would protect you should you decide to move into a retirement village.
The information session also covers how to register your interest and how ECH can support you to move into your new unit when you are ready to become a resident of an ECH retirement village.
