An extensive range of devices are available that can make everyday tasks simpler such as modified eating utensils or aids to help you dress and put on shoes. Personal alerts can aid in calling for assistance should you be unable to get to the telephone, while new technology such as Billy can provide peace-of-mind through non-intrusive monitoring to detect changes to daily routines. All of this can be available through your home care provider or home care package as part of your home care services. Not sure what you need? A qualified ECH Physiotherapist, Podiatrist or Dietician can help you choose the best aids to meet your individual needs, taking into account any specific conditions you might have such as arthritis or vision impairment. ECH also has qualified Occupational Therapists who can help you in developing a holistic approach to remaining in your own home.
