Angaston Adventure – Bakery, Blacksmith & Brauhaus Hotel
Step back in time as you explore the historic township of Angaston in the beautiful Barossa Valley. Experience the age-old craft of blacksmithing as you watch a skilled artisan at work, with the rhythmic sound of hammer on anvil and the glow of the forge creating an authentic atmosphere of bygone days.
Your journey includes visits to two beloved Barossa institutions – the renowned Sunrise Bakery and the historic Brauhaus Hotel – where you’ll sample delicious local cuisine in charming surroundings that showcase the region’s rich European heritage.
Itinerary:
- Arrive at ECH Day Program Smithfield (1A Warooka Cres, Smithfield SA 5114) at 8:30am
- Bus departs at 9:00am
- Morning Tea at the Sunrise Bakery & Café Angaston
- Blacksmith demonstration, Shop & Museum visit
- Lunch at Brauhaus Hotel
- Arrive back at ECH Day Program Smithfield at 4:00pm

- Comfortable casual attire recommended
- Entry fees, morning tea and lunch provided – beverages available for purchase
