Henley Beach Bus Trip to Monarto Safari Park
Join us for our bus trip from ECH Henley Beach.
Jump onboard and visit Monarto Safari Park, the largest safari experience outside of Africa. It is a 1,500 hectare open-range sanctuary is home to more than 500 exotic and Australian native animals, including many of Africa’s most impressive animals such as rhinos, lions, giraffe, meerkats and chimps. Later in the day, enjoy lunch at the park.
The activity level (active/low) for this bus trip is considered active.
Cost and eligibility criteria:
Cost is *$160 self-funded or with a Home Care Package, or *$45 plus Commonwealth Home Support Programme funding per person and includes snacks, lunch and any applicable entrance fees.
*To access the subsidised rates, you will need a referral from My Aged Care. To access a My Aged Care referral please contact ECH on 1300 275 324. If you don’t wish to obtain a referral please discuss with staff about ‘out-of-pocket’ costs.
All participants are required to complete an ECH assessment prior to attending. An ECH staff member will contact you to book in the assessment, once a My Aged Care referral is received.
Departure and arrival time:
Bus trips depart from ECH Day Program Henley Beach, 1-11 Laidlaw St, Henley Beach at 9.00am. The bus will return to the same location no later than 4.00pm. Please arrive at 8:30am to ensure the bus leaves on time.
How to book, change or cancel a booking
Contact 1300 275 324 to register your interest. Due to the popularity of the bus outings, please call if you are unable to attend and need to cancel your booking.
Please note, registering your interest does not automatically reserve you a seat on the bus. Registrations are managed by ECH to ensure equity and access due to the high demand and interest in ECH bus trips.
