FAQs
Your questions answered.
All ECH nursing services require an initial nursing screening. This is carried out by a fully qualified ECH nurse. They may need to speak with your GP or Specialists to understand what other medications or treatment you are receiving. From here they will create a personalised nursing care plan for you. They may also refer you for other services that could aid your recovery such as ECH Wellness services.
If you are aged 65 years or over, you may qualify for a Home Care Package (HCP) or the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) that can cover nursing services. You can also choose to self-fund nursing services for yourself or loved one. Talk to us about funding options.
Contact us and our Onboarding team will discuss your care needs, pricing and funding options and refer you to our Nursing team for an initial screening.
Yes. The administration and management of your medication is a serious responsibility and only registered nurses, enrolled nurses or a medication competent employee can take on this role, giving you and your loved ones, peace of mind.
