Since stepping into the role, Alan has spent significant time on the ground, visiting our retirement villages, wellness centres, and home support teams to gain a first-hand understanding of the operational excellence and community impact that defines ECH.
ECH has announced the appointment of Dr Helena Williams to its Board, effective November 2025. Dr Williams brings more than 35 years of clinical and leadership experience across primary care, aged care, and health system reform. She currently serves as Director and Deputy Chair of the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network Board and chairs the National Primary Care Committee for the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care. The announcement also acknowledges the retirement of Dr Stephen Christley after more than eight years of distinguished service to the ECH Board.
