Whether you share feedback with us in person, complete a survey, attend a village meeting, or speak with one of our team members, your insights help shape the way we support older South Australians.
We also provide dedicated opportunities for consumers and residents to contribute through our advisory groups. These forums bring together people with lived experience to share ideas, provide feedback and help guide continuous improvement across ECH.
By listening, learning and working together, we can continue creating services, homes and communities that reflect what matters most to the people we support.
Consumer Advisory Body (CAB)
The Consumer Advisory Body (CAB) brings together up to 20 members who represent clients, carers and family members from across the ECH community.
CAB members share their lived experience and provide valuable feedback on a wide range of initiatives, including service improvements, client experience projects, communication approaches and future planning.
Through open discussion and collaboration, members help ECH better understand the needs, expectations and priorities of the people we support.
Resident Advisory Group (RAG)
The Resident Advisory Group (RAG) represents the voices of people living in ECH retirement communities.
The group typically includes up to 21 residents alongside ECH team members. Through regular meetings, residents share ideas, provide feedback and discuss topics that impact life in ECH villages.
The Resident Advisory Group recognises that residents are experts in the experience of retirement village living and have valuable insights to contribute. The feedback provided helps inform planning, decision-making and continuous improvement across ECH villages.
Quality Improvement Committee (QIC)
The Quality Improvement Committee (QIC) brings together ECH clinicians and 2 consumer representatives to discuss matters relating to quality, safety and clinical excellence.
The committee reviews clinical practice, risk management, incidents and opportunities for improvement, helping ECH maintain high standards of care and support.
Consumer representatives play an important role by ensuring decisions are informed by the perspectives and experiences of the people who use ECH services.
