Our people are at the heart of what makes ECH special.
This page celebrates a selection of team members and shares the stories, experiences and values that shape life at ECH every day.
These profiles offer a glimpse into the many different roles across our organisation, and the pride people take in supporting older South Australians to live well. Together, they reflect the culture, purpose and connection that define ECH.
Hannah – Allied Health Lead
Hannah joined ECH at our Henley Beach Wellness Centre in 2018 as an Exercise Physiologist. Since then, she’s grown into an Allied Health Leader, supporting a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals.
“I was so lucky that ECH backed me to finish my master’s,” Hannah says. “It’s that kind of support that really helped me feel ready for the next step.”

Take Solomon. Before joining our Home Services Team, Solomon had built two careers: one as a journalist and another as a bank manager. Today, he uses his passion for people to support older South Australians to live independently at home.
Whether he’s helping with a morning routine, driving a client to an appointment or sharing his love of dance, Solomon proves that a career in care is all about the heart and rhythm you bring.
“I like to see my clients smile,” Solomon says. “I feel fulfilled when I return home knowing I have been able to put a smile on their faces.”
For Maddie, the answer is a definite yes. As a Customer Support Advisor at ECH, Maddie knows that for some older South Australians, her voice is the only one they might hear that day. Whether she’s coordinating physiotherapy for a client or supporting her team to solve complex scheduling puzzles, she’s making a real difference.
“I really enjoy what I do – it’s fulfilling to help clients achieve their goals.”

For Vikram Singh, moving from electrical engineering into home support was about more than just a career change – it was about finding a role with heart.
Today, as a Senior Home Support Team Member at ECH, Vikram thrives on the stories shared over a coffee and the meaningful connections he builds with his clients. Whether he’s using innovative VR training to grow his skills or being asked to share his ideas, Vikram feels truly appreciated.
“ECH treats everyone like family, not just individuals,” he says. “It’s the small things that give you a reason to feel attached to the company.”

Ever wondered what you could learn from someone who has lived for more than a century?
For Ar-En, these conversations are the highlight of her day. As a Home Service Team Member, Ar-En helps older South Australians live their best possible lives at home – and she gets just as much in return.
“I love meeting people. I love looking after the elders who have built this nation. Every day, I feel excited to talk with them. I gather a lot of wisdom and learnings from them.”

What does “getting more out of life” look like to you?
For Nirav, it looks like a meaningful career as a Care Partner, a supportive team that feels like a second family, and enough time to take his son to school every morning.
After years of working late into the night in a different industry, Nirav found a second home at ECH, where professional growth and family life go hand in hand.
“The work-life balance is amazing. I can start a little later to take my son to school, and when I finish at 5pm, I can go home and play with my little one.”
