Salary Packaging – As ECH is a not-for profit, you will be eligible to salary package; an easy, cost-effective way, approved by the ATO, to increase your take home pay by 6-12%  and pay less income tax. Employees can salary package up to $15,899 per Fringe Benefit Tax year.

These tax free dollars can cover regular payments like mortgage, rent, and utilities, or be directed towards a Meal and Entertainment Card to use for your day to day purchases for up to $2,650 per year.

Novated Leasing – If you are considering buying a new or late model car, a novated lease could save you thousands in acquisition and running costs as it allows you to pay for your new car with tax-free dollars. This benefit is in addition to your standard salary packaging amount, enabling you to save even more tax each year.

Flexible work is about where, when and how we work, and we encourage proactive thinking around how work can be designed to support flexible work patterns.

At ECH flexible work arrangements will be considered for ALL employees. A decision to support a flexible work arrangement will take into consideration factors related to the impact on the workplace, the operational requirements and staff well-being.

ECH offers six weeks paid parental leave in addition to the Government paid.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – If needed, you and your immediate family will be able to access our Employee Assistance Program; a free and independent counselling service designed to assist employees with problems that may impact work effectiveness and personal wellbeing.

Discounted health club membership – you are eligible to join any EFM Health Club at discounted prices and with no joining fee. Additional savings can be made by salary sacrificing this benefit.

Discounted health insurance benefits – As we are committed to your health and wellbeing, we have partnered with Heath Partners to help make health cover more affordable. You will get 100% back on a dental check-up, optical limits and physio on extras cover, receive confusion-free hospital cover and an ongoing 10% discount.

Early Intervention – If you injure yourself outside of work, you may be able to access some physiotherapy treatment to help you return to full fitness as soon as possible.

Flu Vaccinations – you will be able to receive free annual flu vaccinations across a number of ECH sites.

Journey Accident Insurance – Should you get injured while travelling to and from work, you will be covered by our Journey Accident Insurance.

Vehicle Discounts – Thanks to Paradise Motors and CMI Toyota you can enjoy discounts when purchasing a new vehicle.

Solver Paint – you are eligible for discounts at all Solver Paint stores. Discounts vary but usually falls in the 15 – 30% range.

Above and Beyond Program – This program is designed to recognise and show appreciation for ECH employees who go above and beyond their role.

Birthday Recognition – In recognition of your birthday, you will receive a birthday card with a $25 gift voucher.

Years of Service Recognition – When you complete a milestone number of years at ECH, you will receive an ECH gift voucher.

Employee Referral Program – ECH uses the Carefriends app through which you can share jobs with your network. The more you share, the more points you receive. And if your referred friend is eventually employed with ECH, you will receive extra points which you can then exchange for a financial reward.

ECH provide support for ongoing professional development including the opportunity to attend formal training, on the job coaching and mentoring, leadership development, secondments and study support.
