Running a household takes a lot of time and energy. From vacuuming and dusting to washing clothes and making beds, there are always chores to be done. Domestic assistance and home care support services can help you to remain living independently and confidently in your own home. Next steps Whether you are self-funding a single service, or receiving services as part of a Home Care Package or through other Government funding, you stay in control from booking through to the service being delivered. You may want the same chores done each visit or perhaps you would like your fridge cleaned instead of your carpet being vacuumed – just let ECH know and your home care can be updated. You can even choose to head out for the day, confident in the fact that what you want done will be done. Essential Care™

As you age, your needs can change over time and getting the right advice and services is critical to enable you to remain living independently and confidently at home. ECH Essential Care™ offers a level of home care expertise, a simple pricing structure and easy-to-understand contracts that set it apart from other home care providers. There are four levels of Essential Care™, offering flexibility and easy transition to a higher level of home care services if your circumstances change so you can feel confident about your home care management.

In-home Equipment

As you age, so too does your body.  Innovative equipment or technology can be another way to make your home more comfortable, safer and easier to get around, or simply make everyday tasks easier to do. Equipment such as grab rails or a ramp can make using and accessing your home safer and easier, while walking frames or canes can make getting out and about more enjoyable. An extensive range of devices are available that can make everyday tasks simpler such as modified eating utensils or aids to help you dress and put on shoes. Personal alerts can aid in calling for assistance should you be unable to get to the telephone, while new technology such as Billy can provide peace-of-mind through non-intrusive monitoring to detect changes to daily routines. All of this can be available through your home care provider or home care package as part of your home care services. Not sure what you need? A qualified ECH Physiotherapist, Podiatrist or Dietician can help you choose the best aids to meet your individual needs, taking into account any specific conditions you might have such as arthritis or vision impairment. ECH also has qualified Occupational Therapists who can help you in developing a holistic approach to remaining in your own home.
