Volunteer Community Garden – Henley Beach

ECH is looking for volunteers to assist with the ECH Community Garden at Henley Beach.

This volunteer position supports the coordination of the ECH Community Garden to flourish and strive to be an ‘accessible garden for all’. Support activities to engage the community with the garden to improve wellbeing, increase social inclusion, community connectedness and participation.

Volunteers will also have access to support from the ECH Social Therapeutic Horticulturalist and Social Connections Lead at the garden.

Volunteers may be asked to participate in various gardening activities including weeding, pruning, watering, planting, and general tidying of garden beds. Some bending, lifting, stretching, and carrying may also be required.

Ideally this role will be required on Wednesday mornings at the garden in front of ECH Day Program Henley Beach, 1-11 Laidlaw St, Henley Beach.

If you love sunshine, fresh air, exercise, observing, talking and getting your hands dirty – ECH would love to hear from you. For more information about this position please call 1300 275 324 or email the ECH Volunteer Coordinator via volunteering@ech.asn.au
